One of the single matches that characterized the Premium Live Event Royal Rumble 2023 was certainly the Pitch Black Match between Bray Wyatt and LA Knight, with fans witnessing a somewhat unusual thing sponsored by a well-known brand of a popular drink in the US, Mountain Dew.
Obviously, both for the stipulation and for the conduct of the match, the WWE Universe was somewhat divided between those who understand Wyatt's genius and those who did not appreciate this despite the fact that the rivalry had been built well.
Bray Wyatt himself took care of answering the fans in the post-show press conference: “There are some people who love new concepts and people who take risks and things, and then there are people who don't because they just don't.
It's a sport for some, it's a show for others. about wrestling and this industry is that there is something for everyone. I've always prided myself on the fact that I'm willing to take risks and do things that no one has ever done.
In my opinion, if you're not willing to do it, then what are you doing with it here? It's about leaving a legacy, for me, and I'd do pretty much anything, especially if no one's done it before because I know people will notice, and it's fun for me."

The match itself didn't last very long and obviously more than anything else LA Knight suffered the wrath of a Bray Wyatt who came back as a demon like never before with a very special make-up and red eyes like fire.
The two fought with a very dark blue light around and many fluorescent effects that resembled the Mountain Dew drink, also managing to split the announce table and then the stage when Uncle Howdy appeared throwing himself on La Knight.
It is not clear for now whether the rivalry is really over or not. Following the spooky shenanigans from Royal Rumble 2023, WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt has spoken about possibly reuniting with Alexa Bliss. The two-time Universal Champion was asked about this during the post-Royal Rumble press conference.
"Well, I think that me and Alexa (Bliss) are just kind of connected forever, no matter what. It's just kind of the way it's gone. And where it leads, I don't know. No one knows. But I feel like there will be something at some point, and it will be memorable, I'm sure of that," said Wyatt.
