As we saw on Raw 30, Hulk Hogan is remembered by all pro-wrestling fans as one of the greatest legends the world of this business has ever known. He, together with John Cena and a few other athletes, have in fact been the face of the McMahon federation for years and of the entire world of the discipline.
Apparently, however, after years and decades of career, the physical situation of the now almost seventy year old Hogan, would not be the best, as told by Kurt Angle. In the latest edition of his personal podcast (later transcribed also on the pages of Ringside News), the Olympic champion WWE Hall of Famer stated: "Hogan had back surgery once again.
They cut the nerves in his lower body. Now he can't feel his lower body, so he has to use a cane to walk. I thought he used the cane because he had back pain. But he doesn't feel any pain. He hears nothing. He can't hear anything anymore.
So now he can't feel his legs anymore and so he walks with a cane. This is really serious, friends. I mean, I'm really sorry about Hogan. He put all his heart and soul into the business and he literally devoured it."
Ric Flair opens up on Hulk Hogan
In recent years there has been much talk of a possible quarrel between the two legendary athletes Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan, with the Nature Boy who finally, a few weeks ago, wanted to put out all this fire online.
Speaking on his personal podcast, "To Be The Man", Flair said: "My relationship with Hulk Hogan has further strengthened in recent years, as well as the one with Kevin Nash" – Flair began bluntly. “I don't talk to them every day, but we have a very deep bond.
I am always available when one of them needs me and vice versa. I talked a lot with Kevin after his son died, just to give an example. As for the Hulk, he's fine and in great shape. His back is getting better, he just bought a new house and has a new girlfriend” – he added.
Ric acknowledged that he has made many mistakes in the past: “I have to admit that I have created many problems for myself during my career. I made a lot of wrong choices and I take responsibility for them” – confessed Ric.
“We are human beings and none of us are perfect, but it is important to look in the mirror once in a while and examine your conscience. I succeeded and now I feel really good about myself”.
