*Spoiler* The Usos receive a new challenge

During the Friday Night Smackdown episode aired tonight, WWE wanted to conclude the tournament dedicated to the search for two new No. 1 contenders for the blue show's tag titles, currently held by The Usos, just like Monday's tag team Night Raw.

Surprisingly, Ricochet and Braun Strowman won the final of the tournament, beating the Imperium's Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci in the final. On the night of Smackdown, in fact, Ricochet managed to pin Kaiser after an assisted Swanton Bomb, with the pair set up almost randomly by WWE who will then go on to challenge the Usos for a titled match in the next episode of the blue show, trying to snatch the Smackdown titles to the couple champions, who have held them for 565 days now.

Following Jey Uso's exit from Bloodline, we'll see how the two try to work together again next week.

The Usos are very compact

Last Friday night, at Smackdown, there should have been a match between Sheamus and Drew McIntyre on one side and the Hit Row on the other, valid precisely for this tournament, with the two European athletes however being knocked out by their enemies, the Viking Raiders, in a slimy attack from behind that arrived just before the match, as already happened at the end of a previous episode of the blue show.

In the end, the two lifelong friends athletes were unable to take part in the match, due to the blows suffered by their opponents, so Adam Pearce had to change the schedule of the episode, however sending the Hit Row to the ring for their match, but causing another tag team to leave.

Surprisingly, Braun Strowman and Ricochet came out of the stage, with the two athletes who therefore replaced Sheamus and McIntyre, also arriving at the victory. After the challenge with the Hit Row, the team formed by the giant and the lightweight of the WWE then had to face the winners of the other semifinal between the Imperium and the Legado del Fantasma, for the final of the tag team tournament, which was held instead tonight.

Wrestling legend Bully Ray, aka Bubba Ray Dudley, believes The Usos might lose the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship to The Judgment Day. "I don't know if it's the right time to take the straps off of The Usos, but I have a funny feeling with the direction they might be going in with the whole Sami Zayn and Solo and Roman story, that they might get those straps away from The Usos and get them on [The Judgment Day]."
