In recent weeks we have witnessed the return of Ronda Rousey to Smackdown, with fans of the WWE Universe waiting for her instead within the company's women's Royal Rumble. A few weeks after the real brawl, Ronda intervened on the blue show to support her lifelong friend of hers: Shayna Baszler, with WWE appearing to have now blatantly expressed her plans for the two in view of wrestlemania.
For several months now, the rumors that have been circulating around the former champion of the blue show have been reporting a match valid for the women's couple titles on the main roster, together with Shayna Baszler. Apparently, a clue that emerged from the WWE page that deals with events and ticket sales for the company's events may have added some clues to the confirmation of these plans.
As reported by the pages of Ringside News, Ronda will be present at the Monday Night Raw episode from the Van Del Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan on February 27th. At the moment Shayna Baslzer is not advertised for the event, but the inclusion of Ronda Rousey seems to be a confirmation of the rumors of the past weeks, with the Baddest Woman on the Planet that could thus start chasing the titles of Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, although the two will be engaged on Monday against the couple formed by Becky Lynch and Lita.
Update on Shayna Baszler
During the last few episodes of Monday Night Raw, Lita returned to the scenes of the McMahon company, reappearing after several months in the ring together with Becky Lynch. During Monday night's episode of the federation's red show, Lita and Becky also challenged the two main roster tag team champions, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY to a title match for next week.
In all of this, however, it seems that WWE has slightly changed its plans in view of Wrestlemania, given that in recent weeks, recent rumors had anticipated a possible titled match between the two of Damage CTRL and Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.
By interfering in the titled round, therefore, could Lita and Becky steal the titles from the two of Smackdown? The well-known Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer thought about answering this question, who in one of his latest Newsletters, also reported on the pages of Ringside News, reported how WWE's plans may be to have the pair champions present in both evenings of Wrestlemania 39, with Dakota Kai, IYO SKY and Bayley who will face Lita, Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch in one evening, while on the other evening, the champions will go alone against the two former fighters, with the titles up for grabs, as predicted by the rumors of a few weeks ago.
