Chyna Boosts WWE Biography Ratings on A&E, Rivals Decline for John Cena vs. The Rock

The most recent episode of A&E's pro wrestling documentary series "WWE Biography," which focused on the renowned wrestler known as "The Ninth Wonder of the World," Chyna, showed a modest increase in views. Wrestlenomics claims that the Chyna-focused broadcast resulted in a 6% viewership boost from the prior week, with the coveted 18-49 demographic up 20%.
According to Showbuzz Daily, the episode had a P18-49 rating of #20 for the day among cable originals. A&E's "WWE Biography" episode on Chyna attracted an average of 481,000 viewers, delving deeply into her incredible life and career within and beyond the squared circle.
Chyna created history when she won the WWE Intercontinental Title twice and held it as co-champions for a third time with Chris Jericho. She was one of the only women to ever fight in a singles competition in the men's division.
In addition, she became the only female to win the King of the Ring competition and made two appearances in the Royal Rumble event for males. Jake "The Snake" Roberts was a featured wrestler on the "WWE Biography" episode before Chyna, although it did not garner as many viewers.
Even still, A&E saw a drop in views for its "WWE Rivals" show, including the conflict between Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and John Cena. The episode's viewership dropped from the week before, focusing on the infamous rivalry between The Undertaker and Mankind, to an average of 387,000 people.
The audience for "Rivals" declined 2% among viewers aged 18 to 49 and plummeted 8% weekly.
