Trish Stratus, the WWE Hall of Famer and seven-time Women's Champion, will make her return to the ring at WrestleMania Goes Hollywood. The highly anticipated event is scheduled for April 3, 2023, at the brand-new Los Angeles SoFi Stadium.
After a stellar two-decade career, Stratus announced his retirement from professional wrestling in 2019. She received a standing ovation from the crowd during her emotional retirement match against Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam in her hometown of Toronto.
However, Stratus appeared on WWE television once more a few weeks ago to assist Lita and Becky Lynch in winning the titles as Women's Tag Team Champions. She will now compete in a six-woman tag team match against Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY).

Stratus talked about her admiration for Lynch and how she reminds her of Lita and herself in a recent interview with Bleacher Report. She stated, "She and Lita are very similar, so it's a great dynamic." Their main objective was to live that path of doing things their way.
Becky has long been a favorite of mine. At a live event in Toronto, we interacted and had fun going back and forth. Nice combination. It will be an exciting match because we all come from different times. Just being able to go in there and touch with Bayley and the new girls will make it." Even though the six-woman tag team match will undoubtedly be the show's main attraction, WWE reportedly has big plans for Stratus after WrestleMania.
She is viewed as a valuable asset by the company, and it intends to employ her in various capacities, such as coach, ambassador, and occasionally in-ring performer. It is abundantly clear that Stratus has had a significant and long-lasting impact on the wrestling industry; consequently, her return to the ring will indeed be greeted with enthusiasm by fans worldwide.
