As WWE US Champion Austin Theory prepares for his title defense against John Cena at WrestleMania 39 in April, he takes a moment to express gratitude for the support he has received from fellow wrestlers throughout his career.

Despite his growing stardom, Theory remains humble and appreciative of those who have helped him rise to prominence in WWE. In a recent episode of WWE's "After the Bell" podcast, Theory acknowledged the support and guidance he has received from other wrestlers, particularly Jey Uso and MVP.

He credited these two colleagues for being instrumental in his growth and development within the wrestling world. Theory shared his memories of how his relationship with Jey Uso began. "I would say it was around a year ago, or maybe two years ago, but I started doing the dark matches and then eventually got on the main roster, and then everything kind of took off," he said.

Since then, Theory has relied on Jey for advice and mentorship, as Uso is a seasoned veteran in the industry.

The US Champion recalled an encounter with Jey on a recent episode of WWE RAW, where he received praise for his performance.

"This past Monday, passing him in the hall, he's like, 'Good stuff out there.' [He's] always keeping an eye, and even if I don't see him, I'll always message him like, 'What do you think?' and he's just a game veteran. He's been there for a long, long time.

So, it's always good to have somebody like that to help," added Theory. The gratitude and respect Theory has for his fellow wrestlers, including MVP, demonstrate his commitment to learning from those who have experience in the industry.

This mindset has undoubtedly contributed to his rise in the ranks of WWE and helped him secure his place in the 2023 WWE Elimination Chamber match, ultimately earning a spot at WrestleMania 39. WrestleMania 39, the highly anticipated premium event, is set to take place over two nights on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2.

As Austin Theory prepares for his title clash against John Cena, he remains focused on his performance while also maintaining an attitude of gratitude for the support he has received throughout his career. This humility from Theory is a testament to the bond and camaraderie between WWE wrestlers.
