Ex-WWE Star Sareee Discusses Recent Departure and Future Plans

Japanese wrestling star Sareee (Sarray) recently opened up about her time in WWE and departure from the promotion. After finding great success in her home country, she joined WWE in February 2020, making her mark in professional wrestling.

However, her time with WWE ended earlier this month, following an extended period during which she was not featured on television. Initially, Sareee had the backing of several influential supporters within NXT, WWE's developmental brand.

Unfortunately, after many of these key figures were let go, Sareee was sidelined, with no consistent or significant creative plans for moving forward. Her final WWE match occurred in August, when she faced Mandy Rose in an episode of NXT, ultimately suffering a loss.

Since she departed from WWE, Sareee has returned to Japan and is now a sought-after free agent. In a recent interview with Jean Saito of Dropkick, she discussed her decision to leave WWE and her experiences during her tenure with the company.

Sareee expressed gratitude for the opportunity to challenge herself in America, recognizing that it provided her with unique experiences she would not have encountered daily. She views these experiences as invaluable assets that will prove beneficial as she resumes her wrestling career in Japan.

Sareee's Ambitions and Growth During WWE Tenure

Sareee shared her ambitions for the future, stating, "I want to rampage in the professional wrestling world as Sareee, who has absorbed the world." Her time in WWE, despite its challenges, has helped her evolve as a performer, and she is determined to make the most of the knowledge and skills she acquired during her tenure with the promotion.

It remains to be seen whether Sareee will rejoin World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana, the promotion where she previously worked and held the World Championship title twice. Regardless of where she ultimately lands, her fans eagerly await her return to the ring and are excited to see what the future holds for the talented wrestler.

In professional wrestling, change is a constant, and Sareee's journey is a testament to the resilience and adaptability required to succeed in this competitive environment. Her experiences in WWE have not only provided her with a wealth of knowledge but have also given her a renewed drive to excel in her home country.

With her sights set firmly on the future, Sareee's return to the Japanese wrestling scene will create waves and leave a lasting impact.
