FTR Examines Future Following Success of Cody Rhodes in WWE

The wrestling community was unsure how Cody Rhodes would be treated when he unexpectedly returned to WWE following a significant disagreement with AEW. Many people speculated that Cody would be treated as a second-rate star simply because of his previous involvement with AEW because Vince McMahon, who was still in charge, was known for his strict ways.

Cody's return to WWE has been spectacular, contrary to expectations. He first beat Seth Rollins in a thrilling series of matches, but then he got hurt and had to miss several months. Cody won the Royal Rumble upon his return, securing his spot as the main event at WrestleMania 39.

Fans eagerly anticipate the matchup between Cody and Roman Reigns, the current WWE Universal Champion, just one week before the big event.

FTR Inspired by Cody Rhodes' WWE Comeback Success

The attention of fellow wrestlers, particularly FTR's Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, has been drawn to Cody's triumphant return to WWE.

On "Haus of Wrestling," Harwood and Nick Hausman recently talked about how Cody's journey has influenced their decisions about their future in the industry. Harwood observed that WWE could have used Cody's situation against him to control his career.

However, Harwood and Wheeler have rethought their options in light of the company's decision to treat Cody as a top star and take him seriously. Harwood lauded WWE's handling of Cody's return and emphasized the rewards Cody has received for his perseverance and self-belief.

Harwood revealed that the FTR duo communicates with Cody at least once weekly and maintains a close relationship. He expressed his pride in Cody's achievements and referenced that Cody is, without a doubt, glad for FTR too.

Harwood and Wheeler have rethought their plans for the future in the wrestling industry in light of the success of Cody's comeback.
