American Nightmare's WrestleMania will be a real spectacle. The fans are most looking forward to the match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Cody has high expectations of himself for this match. Speaking to Stadium Astro, Rhodes talked about his father Dusty, and the possibility of him being in his corner.
"I don’t think he would’ve wanted to be in my corner. I think he would’ve wanted to be somewhere private, somewhere, you know, where he could just enjoy it. He really had a great appreciation for what he did already and anytime I tried to drag him out to do something, he would do it for me because he loved me.
But also, he wanted to say goodbye at the right time, and I think that’s why he liked being behind the scenes with what he did at ‘NXT.’”- he said, as quoted by pwmania.com
Cody Rhodes on Reigns and his life stories during the promo
Speaking to Tribal Chief, Rhodes also addressed his opponent.
The topic was Reigns and talking about life stories during the promo. “I’ve been on trial my whole career. Everything has been on trial, from the time you’re judged so early because you’re a multi-generational and the perks that come with that.
From the positions you’re put in, is that too much for a person? Or when you’re sitting there as Stardust, so low, does a person deserve that? Everything is always on trial, and the greatest thing about it is that the verdict is not decided by anyone other than fans.
That is why social media is fun, but also can be a little intimidating. There are fans that will try to tell you things as if they are facts. They’ll use numbers, that’s a huge thing I was a part of that I regret so bad.
Talking about demographics and things like that. The main thing we do, the lifeblood of it is the consumer, and the feeling. You can’t put a number on a feeling”.
