Johnny Gargano, also known as "Johnny Wrestling," is set to make a triumphant return to the WWE NXT ring this weekend at Stand and Deliver. The WWE Universe is buzzing with anticipation, but not everyone shares their enthusiasm – notably, WWE Hall of Famer and NXT commentator Booker T.

During a recent episode of his "Hall Of Fame" podcast, Booker T expressed his confusion regarding the fans' unwavering support for Gargano. "I wonder why the fans have such an infectious relationship and love for this guy," he mused, admitting that he's curious to see how things unfold at Stand and Deliver.

The upcoming event, during WrestleMania weekend, will feature a match between Gargano and rising star Grayson Waller. Waller had been openly critical of Shawn Michaels' management skills, trying to provoke him into a match.

However, the former NXT Champion Gargano surprised everyone with a return to the black and gold brand, setting up the clash with Waller.

Booker T Comments on Waller-Gargano Tension

Booker T acknowledged the brewing tension between the two wrestlers.

"Grayson Waller probably feels like he should have had his spot on the main roster before Gargano ever should have had this spot," he commented, adding that the upcoming match will surely be a spectacle. Gargano and Waller's rivalry has deep roots, as Waller attacked Gargano during his last appearance on NXT when he tried to address the WWE Universe.

This prevented Gargano from saying a proper goodbye to his fans before taking a break from wrestling to focus on fatherhood. Following his return, Gargano made a beeline for WWE Raw, leaving this storyline to wrap up the NXT chapter of his career officially.

As Johnny Gargano prepares to face Grayson Waller at Stand and Deliver, fans can't wait to see what this match holds. While Booker T may not share their enthusiasm, there's no denying that the WWE Universe is eager to see "Johnny Wrestling" back in action.
