Before Cody Rhodes was confirmed as Roman Reigns' challenger at WWE WrestleMania 39, rumors swirled that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson would face off against his Hollywood A-lister cousin at the event. Reigns claims he had no idea how close WWE came to booking the potential match.

During an interview with BT Sport, Reigns explained that he delegates such matters to his special counsel, Paul Heyman, who helps filter the things Reign needs to worry about versus those he doesn't. Reigns praised Johnson's business acumen and intelligence but reiterated that he wasn't aware of any plans WWE or his cousin may have had for this year's WrestleMania.

Johnson has teased a match with his cousin, but Reigns needs to pay more attention to the situation. Instead, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion remains fully invested in the Bloodline storyline and has no time for rumors or outside projects.

He revealed that he's always thinking and grinding about the storyline, adding that "it never shuts off, so for me, it's a built-in situation."

Reigns' WWE Career Takes Priority

Roman Reigns has made it clear that his focus is on his WWE career instead of branching out into other projects such as movies.

Reigns admitted to having a relative lack of participation in movies or other endeavors compared to his cousin Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
