Rey Mysterio Talks About Paying Tribute To Eddie Guerrero

As Eddie Guerrero's entrance music played, Rey Mysterio made an entrance on a low-rider with Snoop Dog during the WWE WrestleMania. It was an amazing moment for the fans, and for some, old memories were brought back to life.

In the midst of all this, Rey Mysterio talked to the press about how much such a thing meant to him and how full of emotion he was. The very fact that he fought against his son and that his family was watching makes him even happier.

In last night's match, Dominik proved to everyone that he is as brilliant as his dad. “You can only imagine [what it meant to me] I already had mixed emotions from the Hall of Fame the night before, and the rebirth of the LWO [during this week’s SmackDown on FOX.] Knowing that I had to fight my son, knowing that my wife and daughter were there, a lot of family members.

And on top of that [was the Guerrero tribute.]”- he said, as quoted by pwmania.com

There is nothing he is more proud of than his entrance, as well as the fact that Snopp Dog is part of it all. The entrance of Rey Mysterio into this match was filled with emotions on his part.

There have been a lot of changes in Mysterio's life in a short period of time, and we cannot imagine how happy he must be at this point in his life. “To be able to ride with Snoop was legendary. ‘Nothin’ but a G’ is something I heard when I was a kid.

When I was growing up, everybody heard that song. And then to mix it into Viva La Raza, the representation of the representor, the fullest representor of Hispanics: Eddie Guerrero. It’s incredible. I walked into that match very emotional, and a lot of my work tonight was in honor of Eddie Guerrero”.
