Unfortunately, Flair's speech drew criticism online, as many fans felt he focused more on his accomplishments than on paying tribute to The Great Muta.

Other notable inductors during the ceremony included Mick Foley and Torrie Wilson, who inducted Stacy Keibler, Jimmy Hart, who introduced Andy Kaufman into the Celebrity wing, and Ron Simmons and JBL, who presented the Warrior Award to the family of the late Tim White.

Jerry Lawler, currently recovering from a stroke, also appeared in a pre-recorded clip to pay tribute to Kaufman. While Ric Flair's speech may not have been universally appreciated, the WWE Hall of Fame event remains a cornerstone of WrestleMania weekend.
