The Rock Hints at WWE Return with 'Door Cracking Message'

Dwayne "WWE fans have widely anticipated the Rock" Johnson's return to the ring for some time. Moreover, with WrestleMania 40 not far off, the reports have begun to whirl again. Philadelphia will host WrestleMania 40 between April 6 and April 7, 2024.

This will be WWE's fifth consecutive two-night event, which is shaping to be a significant occasion. However, everyone's concern is whether or not The Rock will appear. Ten years ago, at WrestleMania 29 in 2013, The Rock lost the WWE Title to John Cena in a match that lasted a long time.

He did have a five-second impromptu match at WrestleMania 32 in 2016, but there were no bumps. There have been rumors for the past year that The Rock might face his cousin Roman Reigns, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, once more in a WWE ring.

However, it did not occur at WrestleMania this year, and fans are still hoping for next year.

The Rock's Possible WWE Return

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that The Rock is leaving "a crack in the door" about the possibility of one more WWE match.

He may be open to participating in WrestleMania 40, even though he turned down the event this year due to scheduling conflicts. Reigns' dominance over the past few years is evident, and since there are no upcoming rivals, The Rock could be the ideal opponent.

In any case, it's vital to note that The Stone has yet to commit to any responsibilities genuinely, and fans shouldn't let their imaginations run wild excessively. Seth Rollins could also try to beat Roman Reigns for the title because he has yet to lose to Reigns in his championship run.

At the Royal Rumble in 2022, Rollins defeated Reigns via disqualification, but there has yet to be a follow-up. Only time will tell if The Rock returns triumphantly to the ring at WrestleMania 40. However, fans must keep their fingers crossed and hope for the best until then.
