Wrestling fans were puzzled by WWE's decision not to have Cody Rhodes complete his story at WrestleMania 39. Booker T shared his disappointment with another missed opportunity from the event. Rhodes may have closed the night with Roman Reigns in the main event.

Still, the first match of Sunday's WrestleMania segment featured Brock Lesnar taking on the colossal Omos in what was touted as the most significant challenge of Lesnar's career. However, The Conqueror defeated Omos in under five minutes, asserting his dominance again.

On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T believed that, despite Lesnar posing a future challenge for Rhodes, WWE missed an excellent opportunity to create something unique with Omos. He said, "To have someone like Brock Lesnar help him [Omos] grow, I thought that could've been a good thing, but they've got other plans, with Brock, you know, doing the thing with Cody Rhodes."

Booker T continued, "Maybe Brock and Cody will mix it up.

Cody may have to go through Brock to go to the next level — I get it. But I thought that was a moment when we could've made Omos the 'ultimate giant.' Yeah, I think we missed the moment." During the Raw event following WrestleMania 39, Brock Lesnar appeared open to teaming up with Cody Rhodes to face The Bloodline's Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.

However, just before the match commenced, Lesnar revealed his true intentions by attacking Rhodes and ruthlessly dismantling him for ten minutes, bringing the show to a close. WWE's decision not to fully capitalize on the potential of Omos and Lesnar's encounter has left fans and Booker T feeling that the company missed a critical moment at WrestleMania 39.
