After the match, Valkyria challenged Jade to a showdown at Spring Breakin' The history between Jade and Valkyria dates back to the 20-Woman Battle Royal, where they fought to become the #1 Contender for the NXT Women's Championship at New Year's Evil 2023.

The rivalry escalated on the April 11 episode of NXT when Jade challenged all the women from the Stand & Deliver ladder match, which included Valkyria. She interrupted Jade's promo, leading to a heated exchange of words and fists.
