WWE Partners with Fanatics for On-Site Retail

As it takes over the management of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) 's global event merchandise operations, Fanatics has announced an expansion of its partnership with WWE. The agreement goes into effect on May 1, just before WWE's premium live event Backlash, where famous singer and rapper Bad Bunny will serve as host.

The on-site retail experience for WWE's annual roster of over 300 events will be overseen by Fanatics Commerce, the e-commerce, licensed merchandise, and physical retail operations division of Fanatics. This includes high-end live events like SummerSlam, WrestleMania, and the Royal Rumble.

To enhance the shopping experience for the expanding global fanbase, Fanatics will collaborate with WWE teams that had previously managed the event retail business internally. Including Fanatics-operated team stores during various live events, innovative event retail stores and experiences, a more diverse in-venue product selection, and more localized merchandise collections are among the improvements.

Fanatics' Retail Expertise

Over fifty professional and college teams in a variety of sports have partnered with Fanatics to open physical stores. "Fanatics is uniquely positioned to provide an unrivaled event retail experience for WWE's passionate fans at hundreds of events worldwide, thanks to our expansive global footprint and event retail operations expertise," Molly Adams, Chief Strategic Retail Officer at Fanatics Commerce, stated.

In Walk 2022, Fan entered a drawn-out organization with WWE to become its worldwide web-based business accomplice. Later, licensed merchandise, memorabilia, trading cards, and collectibles were added to the agreement. Alex Varga, WWE Senior VP and Head of Corporate Turn of events, said, "Devotees has been an astonishing accomplice and will promptly reinforce WWE's occasion retail business.

WWE will be able to expand our fan offerings and increase merchandise revenue in 2023 and beyond, thanks to the expansion of our partnership. Fanatics recently acquired Epi, a prominent sports merchandise company based in Italy that manages several major Italian football clubs' official online and in-person stores.

As the company continues to maintain partnerships with leading sports clubs and organizations worldwide, this acquisition aligns with Fanatics' ongoing expansion into international markets.
