WWE fans fervently support LA Knight, calling for a significant push for the charismatic wrestler. The 40-year-old made his main roster debut last year under Max Dupri, leading the faction Maximum Male Models. Following an unremarkable run, he broke ties with Mace and Mansoor in September 2022, adopting the LA Knight persona again and receiving enormous fan reactions.
WWE held a live event in Fort Wayne this Saturday, where LA Knight faced Mustafa Ali in a one-on-one match. Emerging victorious, Knight addressed the crowd, receiving overwhelming support. In a video posted on WWE's Instagram, fans passionately chanted Knight's "Yeah" catchphrase and cheered him on during his bout with Ali.
Knight's WWE Draft Championship Ambitions
WWE polled fans on which brand they believe will acquire the self-proclaimed Megastar in the upcoming draft—in a recent interview with KTAL NBC 6, LA Knight expressed his desire for a championship run in WWE, discussing potential dream matches against current champions like Gunther, Austin Theory, and Roman Reigns.
"Dream matches, you think about people from the past who aren't doing it anymore. There are a couple of those. Everyone is talking about it again, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion; that makes me look at Roman Reigns. Even Gunther, with the Intercontinental Championship.
Austin Theory for the United States Championship. Any one of those guys, who I could take a piece of gold off of that would be my dream match." Although LA Knight has not yet had a championship match, he remains a fan favorite on TV, drawing huge reactions with each appearance.
Knight's popularity has continued to soar, with fans remaining devoted despite his losses. As the WWE Universe passionately supports LA Knight, anticipation builds around his career trajectory. Fans eagerly await to see if this overwhelming backing will translate into opportunities for him to compete for championship gold, solidifying his position as a top-tier talent in the wrestling world.
