WWE Hall of Famer and legendary professional wrestler Booker T has expressed his belief that Haley and Hanna Cavinder, the talented college basketball players, could make a significant impact in the world of WWE after they decide to end their basketball careers.
The Cavinder twins have already captured the hearts of many sports enthusiasts due to their impressive skills on the basketball court. Their transition into the wrestling arena garners considerable attention and excitement from the WWE and its fan base.
Jeff Hoffman, the Cavinder twins' agent, recently announced that the two young athletes would be commencing their training at the WWE Performance Center, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to developing the next generation of WWE Superstars.
In an interview with TMZ, Booker T shared some invaluable advice for the siblings as they embark on this new journey. "The best advice I can give to siblings is [to] learn this craft and stick together because it will be a ride," the wrestling icon said.
"It's going to be a journey. This is a marathon. You got to be ready to run the long haul." Booker T went on to praise the athletic abilities of the Cavinder twins and the potential they have in shaping the future of the wrestling business.
"These young ladies that are coming in... they are so athletic. So much more athletic than the crop when I came up. I see this business going in a great direction," he added.
Cavinder Twins' WWE Enthusiasm
In a previous interview with The Today Show, the Cavinder twins expressed their passion for WWE and highlighted the various aspects of the sport that they find appealing.
"We love the WWE," Haley shared. "The fan base, the sport, the fitness side of it ... they're great, our partner, and we're very excited about a future with them." Booker T, born Booker Tio Huffman Jr., is a retired American professional wrestler who enjoyed a highly successful career in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
He was a six-time world champion who captured prestigious titles in both companies before retiring from active competition in 2012. Since then, he has been a commentator for WWE's flagship show, Raw, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
In addition to his on-screen roles, Booker T runs his own wrestling school and promotion, Reality of Wrestling, in Texas.
