Gerwig Shares Joyful Experience Directing Barbie
Gerwig shared her experience making the movie and working with the talented cast during the Barbie panel at the event. Margot Robbie was the one who invited Gerwig on board for the project, and Gerwig revealed that the entire production process was a joyful experience.
She also discussed how she and Noah Baumbach, who co-wrote the script, had a lot of fun writing it and making each other laugh. Ryan Gosling also spoke about his experience playing Ken and how he initially doubted his "Ken-ergy" when offered the role.
However, he soon warmed up to the idea and admitted that he enjoyed playing the character. Gosling also talked about how he developed a "pink fever" while filming the movie.
