Internet Sensation Hasbulla Declines WrestleMania 39 Invite from WWE

WrestleMania is renowned for transforming into a star-studded extravaganza featuring celebrities from various sports and entertainment industries. This year's two-day event was no exception, as the iconic Snoop Dogg co-hosted it.

However, fans might have seen another big name at the event if WWE had its way. The company reportedly tried to bring Hasbulla Magomedov, the internet sensation from Dagestan, Russia, to WrestleMania 39, but he declined the offer.

Hasbulla boasts a massive following on social media, with 8.6 million Instagram followers and over 11 billion streams on TikTok. Despite living with Growth Hormone Deficiency, the 20-year-old is determined to chase his dreams.

Hasbulla Rejects WrestleMania Invitation

The New York Times reported that WWE invited Hasbulla to participate in WrestleMania 39, but he declined the offer due to religious commitments. A devout Muslim, Hasbulla had planned to travel to Mecca for Ramadan during the week of WrestleMania 39.

His pilgrimage was later confirmed in an Instagram post.

Hasbulla's commitment to his faith extends beyond turning down WWE's offer; he adheres to a strict set of principles that guide his life.

For example, he does not drink alcohol or take photos with female fans, even rejecting a sponsored party at Las Vegas' Wynn Hotel for his 21st birthday. While it's disappointing that Hasbulla didn't attend WrestleMania 39, there's still a possibility that WWE might invite him to future events.

Meanwhile, Hizbullah has embraced the world of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and enjoys a connection with Dagestani fighters like Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev. He has attended several UFC events, even celebrating a victory with Makhachev at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi.

Hasbulla revealed last year that he signed a five-year deal with UFC, though it's uncertain when or if fans will see him compete in the octagon. As his popularity grows, WWE and UFC fans will likely be eager to see how Hasbulla's involvement in combat sports unfolds.
