The reigning Raw Women's Champion, Bianca Belair, has enjoyed a successful WWE career. Still, she recently admitted to feeling a twinge of jealousy toward a fellow superstar due to a past rivalry. As her title reign nears the 400-day mark, Belair is closing in on Becky Lynch's record-setting 398-day reign as champion.
Belair is set to defend her Raw Women's Title against IYO SKY from Damage CTRL at WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico on May 6th. Following the event, new post-WWE Draft rosters will take effect, with Belair moving to Smackdown alongside Damage CTRL.
The future of the Raw Women's Title remains uncertain, as Smackdown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley will be drafted to Monday's Raw. Will there be a title swap like in the past, or will WWE choose a different path? Fans should expect more information on Raw.
Belair's Envy Toward Beth Phoenix
In a recent interview with DS from Ring the Belle before WrestleMania 39, Belair discussed Rhea Ripley's mixed tag team match at Elimination Chamber, where Ripley and Finn Balor lost to Edge and Beth Phoenix.
Belair expressed her envy, saying, "I wanted to hang out with Beth Phoenix. I mean, Rhea's having a great year. She's done a lot of amazing, great things. I'm just like, 'I wanted that.' Beth is amazing. She's great. Whenever I came into WWE, my answer [for which legend I would want to face in a dream match] was always Beth Phoenix." Belair praised Ripley, stating, "I'm excited for Rhea.
She's doing amazing things, and I'm excited about her WrestleMania match, but I was a little jealous when she got to wrestle Beth Phoenix." Although Belair has yet to face WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix in a high-profile match, she had a triumphant WrestleMania 39, winning her third consecutive WrestleMania bout by defeating Asuka and retaining the Raw Women's Title.
As she continues her impressive title reign, fans eagerly await the outcome of the upcoming WWE Draft and its potential impact on the Raw and Smackdown Women's Championships.
