WWE Hall of Famer Edge has returned to the wrestling ring to the surprise and excitement of fans after almost nine years of retirement due to neck injuries. Since his return, Edge has been involved in more than 25 matches and added another victorious Hell in a Cell bout to his resume.

Recently, Edge appeared on the "Impulsive" podcast hosted by Logan Paul, where he discussed how much creative control he has maintained over his character throughout his entire wrestling career. Edge revealed that he has been very hands-on with all the creative aspects of his character, including designing his gear and merchandise and choosing his entrance music.

He believes that music is the most crucial element of his presentation. He revealed that his iconic entrance theme, Metalingus, performed by Alter Bridge, came about when Edge was introduced to the band's guitarist, Mark Tremonti, at a Metallica show.

Tremonti showed Edge the songs, and Edge asked if he could use his favorite as entrance music. Metalingus was used as Edge's entrance music from 2004 until last year when he briefly changed to a different Alter Bridge song before switching back to Metalingus.

Edge: Music is Crucial to My Character Presentation

Edge's interest in art has always inspired him to stay involved in the creative process of his character. He explained that he has been hands-on to such an extent that, when he first came into the WWE, the company was surprised at his level of involvement.

According to Edge, the more energy his entrance music gives him, the more he can give back to the audience, which is why he feels music is the most crucial element in his presentation. Unsurprisingly, Edge's creative involvement in his character has resulted in such memorable moments and matches throughout his career.

His latest return has been nothing short of epic, and his creative vision will continue to inspire him. Fans of Edge can continue to look forward to seeing his innovative and captivating performances, both in and out of the ring.
