In a recent episode of the Undisputed Podcast, hosted by Bobby Fish, former WWE NXT star Danny Burch candidly shared his experiences during his two stints with WWE and how his initial run in the company led to losing his passion for wrestling.
As reported by Wrestling Inc, Burch's first tenure with WWE lasted from 2011 to 2014, followed by a second run from 2019 to 2022. Burch opened up about his difficulties during his early years with WWE, admitting that his mindset and unhappiness contributed to his struggles.
"It just wasn't working. Because of my mindset and how unhappy I was… I was relieved [it was over]. At that point, I was so unhappy, I was like, 'I don't know if I even want to do this anymore,'" he explained. Between 2015 and 2019, Burch made sporadic appearances for WWE while continuing to wrestle independently. During this period, his love for the sport began to rekindle. Upon signing a new contract with WWE in 2019, Burch's passion for wrestling returned in full force.
