WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER Set for Official RAW Debut in Greensboro, NC The WWE Universe is buzzing with anticipation as GUNTHER, the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion of the 21st century, is set to make his official debut as a RAW Superstar next Monday night in Greensboro, NC, at the Greensboro Coliseum.
As of now, no opponent has been announced for the highly anticipated debut. Since being selected by the red brand in the 2023 WWE Draft, fans have eagerly awaited GUNTHER's arrival on Monday Night RAW. Since making his SmackDown debut last year, GUNTHER and his Imperium brethren have dominated the blue brand, protecting their sacred mat with every title defense.
The Ring General has defeated notable SmackDown Superstars such as Ricochet, Sheamus, Rey Mysterio, and Drew McIntyre, showcasing his vicious in-ring style.
GUNTHER's RAW Debut Looms
With the red brand now serving as the home for GUNTHER and Imperium, it appears that The Ring General is poised to continue his reign of terror.
The WWE Universe is encouraged to attend RAW next week when GUNTHER makes his red brand debut at 8/7 C on the USA Network. It should be noted that this will not be GUNTHER's first appearance on RAW. The Intercontinental Champion defeated Dolph Ziggler on March 27 during the WrestleMania 39 go-home show.
Imperium also participated in the RAW XXX show in January, where they lost against Seth Rollins and The Street Profits. Last night's post-Backlash RAW saw Imperium's Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser take a loss to Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
In addition to GUNTHER's debut, next week's RAW will feature Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville challenging for the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles. They are set to face Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. However, if Damage CTRL's Bayley and Dakota Kai secure the titles on Friday's SmackDown, the challengers will face them instead.
Moreover, WWE is exciting The Miz vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match for the following Monday. Following his appearance on 'Miz TV' after being drafted by RAW, The King of Strong Style has been destined to clash with The A-Lister. Nakamura humiliated The Miz on his show, mocking him before delivering a crushing Kinshasa.
Both superstars were unsuccessful in the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament this past Monday, with The Miz confronting Nakamura after their matches. Nakamura did not take kindly to Miz's choice of words, setting up this highly anticipated clash.
Will Nakamura score his first win since being drafted to RAW, or will The Miz gain retribution after being humiliated by his rival? Fans are encouraged to tune in next week at 8/7 C on the USA Network to witness all the action unfold as these superstars face off in the squared circle.
