WWE Superstar Seth Rollins made waves in the entertainment world when he was spotted on the set of the highly anticipated film Captain America: New World Order. A series of leaked photos and videos surfaced online, fueling speculation about Rollins' involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

If confirmed, Rollins would become the first active WWE star to appear in an MCU film, blazing a trail for his fellow wrestlers. While WWE fans are familiar with former WWE Champion Dave Bautista's portrayal of Drax The Destroyer in the MCU's Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, Rollins has the potential to make history as the first active WWE wrestler to join the superhero-filled universe.

Another WWE talent, Becky Lynch, was previously cast in The Eternals but unfortunately ended her scene on the cutting room floor.

Rollins' Role and New Captain: Leaked Set Images Tease Serpent Society

While the details of Rollins' character in Captain America: New World Order remain a mystery, leaked on-set images suggest that he will be portraying a member of the infamous Serpent Society.

This group has been rumored to appear in the film. This installment will feature Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson, also known as Falcon, taking up the mantle of Captain America for the first time. This narrative follows the events of Avengers: Endgame, where Steve Rogers (played by Chris Evans) passed on the shield and title to Wilson, his chosen successor.

Apart from Rollins, the movie boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Danny Ramirez will portray Joaquin Torres, the second Falcon who appeared in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. Tim Blake Nelson returns as The Leader, reprising his role from The Incredible Hulk (2008).

Shira Haas will portray Sabra, while Liv Tyler and Harrison Ford will bring back Betty Ross and assume the role of Thunderbolt Ross, respectively, taking over from William Hurt. As Rollins ventures into the world of blockbuster films, his wrestling career continues to flourish.

He is a strong contender for WWE's new World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins is set to face off against AJ Styles in the tournament finals, with the winner crowned as the inaugural champion at the Night of Champions pay-per-view event on May 27 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

However, with his newfound acting commitments, backstage insiders have mixed feelings about awarding Rollins the title should his film opportunities persist. Rollins' involvement in Captain America: New World Order signals a thrilling crossover between the realms of professional wrestling and the Marvel Universe, captivating fans with the prospect of seeing their favorite WWE Superstar shine on the silver screen.
