On the momentous night before WrestleMania 39, the highly anticipated return of the Latino World Order (LWO) took place, with Rey Mysterio and Legado Del Fantasma joining forces. Coinciding with this reunion, the esteemed luchador was honored with an induction into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame.

Presenting the installation was Konnan, a key figure in Mysterio's illustrious professional wrestling journey. Amidst the excitement surrounding these events, one question lingered: would the former WCW United States Heavyweight Champion be willing to participate in a segment with the newly revived LWO? Konnan's response shared on a recent "K100" episode, left no doubt.

Konnan Open to Collaborating with LWO

When asked about the possibility, Konnan hesitantly replied, "Yeah, with LWO? Yeah. They're all my friends." The bonds forged throughout the years have remained strong, prompting Konnan to express his openness to collaborating with the current iteration of the LWO.

In the weeks following their reunion, the LWO has continued their collaboration, mainly targeting The Judgement Day, a rival faction, to restore equilibrium in the WWE. Their confrontation spilled over to WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico earlier this month, where Bad Bunny squared off against Damian Priest in an intense Street Fight in his first singles match with the company.

Naturally, Judgement Day intervened, but the LWO had some surprises. Enter Savio Vegan and Carlito, whose appearances garnered some of the most enthusiastic reactions from the crowd that evening. However, Konnan's involvement with the current LWO extends beyond friendship.

Many Legado Del Fantasma members and Rey Mysterio share professional connections with him from their days in AAA. The sole exception to this shared history is Zelina, deciding to partake in a segment with the LWO, an easy one for Konnan.

He further emphasized this connection: "Everyone in the LWO except Zelina worked for me in Mexico or worked with me." With Konnan's endorsement and longstanding relationship with the LWO members, the possibility of witnessing the legendary luchador join forces with the revived faction in WWE grows more enticing.

Wrestling enthusiasts eagerly await the potential collaboration that could further solidify the legacy of the LWO and its impact on the WWE landscape.
