WWE's highly anticipated Night of Champions event is gearing up to deliver an electrifying lineup of three main events. As the excitement builds, fans can expect a rematch between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar, an epic clash between Seth Rollins and AJ Styles to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion, and a captivating tag team championship match featuring Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa challenging Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
During a recent episode of "WWE Raw," the charismatic Paul Heyman took center stage in the ring to further ignite anticipation for the tag team match. Heyman boldly proclaimed that The Usos would not attend the Night of Champions.
Instead, they would be watching the event from the comfort of their own homes. Heyman confidently stated, "The Usos will be sitting proudly at home, watching on television, as The Bloodline reclaims the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
The new Tag Team Champions will be Solo and Roman Reigns."
The Usos' Struggles in Redemption Journey
The Usos, Jimmy and Jey, have faced setbacks in their quest for redemption since losing the tag team gold to Owens and Zayn in the main event of WrestleMania 39 Night One.
Their efforts to regain the titles fell short during a rematch on "SmackDown" on April 27. On a subsequent occasion, The Usos teamed up with their brother, Solo Sikoa, at WWE Backlash, where The Bloodline emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle against Owens, Zayn, and Matt Riddle.
However, it was Solo Sikoa who secured the victory for the team. Seizing the opportunity to capitalize on their momentum, Reigns appeared on the May 12 episode of "SmackDown" and announced that he and Sikoa would pursue the tag team titles.
Reigns cited The Usos' recent inability to get the job done as the motivation behind his decision. Notably, this will mark Reigns' first tag team title match in over five years, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the impending showdown.
With Night of Champions just around the corner, all eyes are on The Bloodline and their pursuit of tag team glory. As The Usos watch from afar, the stage is set for an epic clash between Reigns, Sikoa, Owens, and Zayn, as the WWE Universe eagerly anticipates a possible changing of the guard within the tag team division.
