Colt Cabana Only Watched Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Usos at WrestleMania

Colt Cabana, a respected figure in independent wrestling and former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, keeps a keen eye on the career trajectories of his former colleagues in the wrestling world. During a recent episode of Bobby Fish's "The Undisputed Podcast," Cabana candidly discussed the successes of his ex-Ring of Honor comrades who have made it big in WWE, particularly highlighting Seth Rollins' meteoric rise to fame.

Despite being intimately acquainted with the wrestling landscape, Cabana admitted to watching just one match from this year's WrestleMania - the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship match. "I only tuned into [WrestleMania] this year specifically to watch Sami [Zayn] and Kevin [Owens] go at it," he confessed.

Zayn and Owens' Championship Triumph

The showdown between Zayn, Owens, and the defending champions, the Usos, served as the electrifying curtain-closer of the first night of the two-night event. Zayn and Owens' triumph in the ring, resulting in a tag team championship title, proved to be a crowd-pleaser, eliciting jubilation from the spectators at SoFi Stadium and viewers around the globe.

The championship victory only added to the positive trajectory of Zayn's wrestling career. The Montreal native's fan base has been swelling since his title challenge against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber event.

It seems that Zayn is reveling in the spotlight and delivering crowd-pleasing performances one after the other. While his former ROH compatriots continue to soar in the WWE, Cabana is under contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he serves dual roles as a wrestler and a producer.

He is also a familiar face in the independent wrestling circuit and has dabbled in acting, appearing on television shows like "Chicago Fire." His most recent televised bout was a gallant effort against ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe in April, despite ending in a defeat. Through it all, Cabana's keen interest in the unfolding narratives of the wrestling world remains unswerving.
