WWE Smashes YouTube Record in Night of Champions Triumph

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) celebrated a triumph during its latest Night of Champions premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. WWE, a global sports-entertainment juggernaut, continues to add to its exceptional achievements by setting unprecedented records and establishing its firm foothold in the Middle East.

The organization reportedly concluded the event with high satisfaction, as it shattered previous merchandise sales records in the Kingdom, according to PWInsider. Night of Champions proved to be a record-breaking event as it amassed the highest viewership of any WWE event previously held in Saudi Arabia.

The statistics show an impressive 18% growth in viewership when compared to last November's WWE Crown Jewel, an event headlined by celebrities Logan Paul and Roman Reigns. This sharp rise in popularity demonstrates the increasing global appeal of WWE events.

Night of Champions is the fastest-selling event ever hosted in Saudi Arabia, as wrestling magnate Triple H noted.

WWE Sets YouTube Subscriber Milestone

Remarkably, Night of Champions also catalyzed a significant milestone on the digital front.

The event helped WWE surpass a staggering 95 million subscribers on YouTube, significantly more than any other global sports league. To put this into perspective, the NBA stands at 20.6 million, the UFC at 16.1 million, the NFL at 11.2 million, and the MLB at 4.36 million.

Meanwhile, Impact Wrestling and AEW boast 4.63 million and 3.65 million subscribers within the wrestling sphere, respectively. One of the most-viewed clips from Night of Champions has already amassed over 3 million views. This footage features Jimmy Uso's audacious kick to Roman Reigns during the highly-anticipated WWE Tag Team Championship main event.

This eventful match ended with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens successfully defending their titles against Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Further high points of the evening included Seth Rollins' triumphant defeat over AJ Styles, securing him the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

In another controversial showdown, Asuka used questionable tactics to pin Bianca Belair, ending her record-breaking "Raw" Women's Championship reign. The evening was capped off with a blast from the past as Trish Stratus won her first singles match since 2006, pinning Becky Lynch following an unexpected assist from Zoey Stark.
