The event is slated for September 9, 2023, in the vibrant city of Hyderabad, according to recent reports from Sportskeeda. Although there remains clarity about the event's broadcasting plan, WWE enthusiasts can look forward to an adrenaline-fueled spectacle.
The event's scheduling — following closely on the heels of "WWE SmackDown" on September 8 — may somewhat limit the appearance of "SmackDown" stars unless the program is recorded in advance. Yet, the WWE has always excelled in surprising its audience so that nothing can be ruled out.
Initially, the event was supposed to take place earlier in 2023. Unfortunately, due to a merger involving WWE's television distributor in India, fans had to wait longer. The wait, however, seems worth it. Hyderabad, the host city, had been in contention from the beginning — a thriving metropolis offering a dynamic backdrop for what promises to be an electrifying show.
WWE's Global Live-Event Endeavor
This Indian event forms a part of WWE's aggressive international push. Their ambitious three-premium live-event run, encompassing BackLash, Night of Champions, and Money in the Bank, takes the wrestling behemoth to diverse corners of the globe.
