Seth Rollins Highlights Concerns Over WWE Championship

WWE superstar Seth Rollins recently shared intriguing thoughts about the World Heavyweight Championship, reigniting discussions about the title's presence on WWE's flagship show, Monday Night RAW. The new title was unveiled by WWE legend Triple H ahead of this year's highly anticipated WWE Draft, earmarked exclusively for RAW.

The Architect, Seth Rollins, claimed the title at the Night of Champions, besting AJ Styles in a captivating showdown. The duo, fresh off their competitive rivalry, joined forces in a tag team match to defeat The Judgment Day on the most recent episode of RAW.

Adding fuel to the ongoing discourse, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion took to social media to question the last instance the world title was defended on RAW. "About to board my flight to White Plains, and it got me thinking… Does anyone recall the last time the men's Heavyweight Title was defended on a RAW episode?" Rollins questioned on Twitter.

Notably, the Twitter handle "Wrestle Ops" pinpointed that Big E last defended the title on RAW in November 2021.

Rollins Emphasizes Need for Title

Despite the ups and downs of his career, Rollins recently shared his delight in reclaiming a world title after a considerable hiatus.

As Roman Reigns continues his dominance as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Rollins highlighted the need for a full title for RAW's top-tier superstars to contend for, positioning the World Heavyweight Championship as the ideal answer.

Reflecting on his tumultuous journey, Rollins shared his sentiments on WWE's talk show, The Bump. "It's been a challenging journey. It's been nearly four years since I've held a world heavyweight championship, marked by many highs and lows," said Rollins.

He acknowledged his fluctuating relationship with the WWE Universe and his transformative personal journey in the past four years. Asserting that he has evolved from his past championship reign, Rollins eagerly looks forward to being a fighting champion on Monday Night RAW once again.

"I'm a wholly different person now, and it genuinely feels right this time. I'm thrilled to bring a world title back to Raw, a show that's sorely missed a world champion for some time. I intend to defend the title, remaining a key figure on Monday nights, but this time with a title on my shoulder," Rollins proclaimed.

With Seth Rollins determined to bring a fighting champion's spirit to Monday Night RAW, the stage is set for potential challengers to step up in the coming weeks. It promises an exciting period for fans and the title's future in WWE.
