On June 5th's edition of Raw, Seth Rollins successfully defended his title against Damian Priest, a prominent member of The Judgment Day, in his first televised defense. Despite Priest's relentless onslaught, Rollins triumphed by delivering The Stomp.
In the aftermath, a notable exchange between Rollins and Finn Balor, Priest's ally in The Judgment Day, sparked speculations. With Money in the Bank scheduled for July 1st in London, England, Balor, the proud Irishman, may challenge Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title.
Rollins Targets Judgment Day Wrestler
During a candid conversation with Mark Andrews on the My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast, Rollins was queried about his preferred opponents at Money in the Bank. He indicated a specific wrestler from The Judgment Day who he'd love to confront before a boisterous London audience.
"There's a wealth of talent on the Raw roster right now, including the likes of Cody, Kevin, Sami, Bronson Reed, Shinsuke Nakamura, and the entire Judgment Day faction, despite Drew McIntyre being on the injured list," stated Rollins.
"But one individual I'm particularly excited to engage with is Dominik Mysterio. I relish the thought of beating him in front of a raucous London crowd. Nevertheless, there are plenty of options, and I'm thrilled to see how it all pans out." In addition to the Raw contenders, Rollins could face Bron Breakker from NXT.
The former NXT Champion had thrown down the gauntlet to Rollins in last week's NXT show. Whether Rollins will appear on the upcoming NXT episode to respond to this challenge remains to be seen. Above all, Rollins expressed his enthusiasm for the simple joy of performing for the fans, "What truly motivates me these days is hearing the crowd sing my song."
