Braun Strowman, the powerhouse of WWE, burst onto the main roster in 2015 as a member of The Wyatt Family. He quickly established himself as a dominant force and spent a significant portion of his career at the pinnacle of the WWE card.
However, his journey took an unexpected turn when the company made a series of roster cuts. Strowman was released from his WWE deal in June 2021, leaving many fans and fellow wrestlers astonished. In a surprising twist, Strowman made his triumphant return to WWE in September 2022 under the leadership of Triple H.
Reflecting on his time away from the company, Strowman recently opened up about the mixed emotions he experienced during his absence in an interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful. While he initially enjoyed exploring other ventures outside of WWE, he admitted that being away from the ring was a bitter pill to swallow: "We had a few conversations, and I enjoyed my time away.
But I won't lie. Initially, it was quite challenging for me. However, it turned out to be something I needed, as I felt mentally overwhelmed, not just with WWE but various aspects of my life."
Reflecting on Milestones: Strowman's Gratitude
Strowman acknowledged that his hiatus gave him a valuable opportunity to step back and appreciate his incredible experiences and accomplishments throughout his career.
Recounting his earlier stint with WWE, he expressed gratitude for the multitude of milestones he reached: "During my first run here, I achieved so much in such a short time. I won the Money in the Bank contract, became the Universal Champion, conquered the Tag Team division, triumphed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, held the Intercontinental Championship, headlined numerous pay-per-views, and sold-out arenas.
Taking a break allowed me to reflect on all those incredible moments and realize how blessed I've been." However, despite the valuable insights gained during his time away, Strowman confessed his deep passion for professional wrestling and his unwavering belief that it was his purpose in life.
He expressed his joy at returning to WWE and being back where he feels he belongs: "But at the same time, I despised being away. This is my love, my passion. I've said it countless times, and I was destined to do this and be a part of this great company.
So, it feels incredible to be back home where I truly belong." With his return to WWE, Braun Strowman is ready to unleash his immense power again, and fans worldwide eagerly anticipate witnessing the next chapter in his extraordinary career.
