Killer Kowalski: WWE announces memorial to honour famous wrestler

The WWE has announced that a memorial show honouring Killer Kowalski will be held in Malden, Massachusetts, at the Irish-Canadian Club on 26th October. Killer Kowalski was a professional Polish-Canadian wrestler whose real name was Walter Kowalski. He went on to legally change his Nom de Guerre to his actual name in 1963. Kowalski remained a part of the professional wrestling circuit for 30 years between 1947 and 1977. Kowalski died at the age of 81 after suffering from a heart attack in August 2008. 

Meanwhile, Indie wrestler Robert A. Leo who had adopted the Nom de Guerre  Killer Kowalski Jr. passed away on 5th September 2008. The 44-year-old had been a part of the independent wrestling circuit for about a dozen years.
