In an unexpected turn of events, professional wrestler Tyler Breeze remains on the company's payroll despite his formal release by WWE in the summer of 2021. A recent report from Fightful Select has revealed that Breeze is still under a WWE contract, which is linked to the famous YouTube gaming brand, UpUpDownDown.

This arrangement has been in place for quite some time. The specific details of the contract, such as whether it includes wrestling provisions or restrictions, have yet to be revealed. However, an inside source from WWE has confirmed that Breeze's contract inhibits his appearance on AEW TV.

Fans were pleasantly surprised when Breeze made a special appearance on WWE programming during the October 6, 2022, edition of The Bump, where he was seen alongside Big E.

Breeze's Strategic Life Beyond Wrestling

People close to Breeze have admired his savvy business decisions outside the wrestling ring.

He has been acknowledged for strategically preparing for his life beyond his wrestling career. Breeze co-runs the Flatbacks Wrestling school in Apopka, Florida, with AEW's Shawn Spears. In addition, he has made some wise real estate investments, further solidifying his financial footing.

Although Breeze has abstained from wrestling since leaving WWE, he recently announced his return to the ring on September 1, 2023, for the Roseland 6 event organized by Prestige Wrestling in Portland, Oregon. Known simply as "Breeze" for this event, his opponent remains undisclosed.

Following this announcement, Breeze was added to the lineup for Prestige Wrestling's The Respect Issue event on September 2. Breeze has managed to maintain a significant role within the UpUpDownDown team, led by founder Xavier Woods, even while mainly staying away from the wrestling scene.

His last wrestling match before his departure was a victorious bout with Fandango against Imperium on June 15, 2021, aired on WWE NXT. A celebrated wrestler, Tyler Breeze, signed a developmental deal with WWE in late 2010.

He held various titles during his tenure, including NXT Tag Team Champion, FCW Florida Tag Team Champion, and FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion. Due to budget cuts, his release on June 25, 2021, along with several others, marked an end to an illustrious wrestling chapter, though not his association with the WWE.
