Dillon Danis Teases WWE Talks with Triple H, Fans Buzzing

Dillon Danis has set the internet abuzz with speculation after hinting at potential negotiations with WWE's legendary figure Triple H and the organization itself. WWE, renowned for its larger-than-life characters and scripted wrestling matches, is widely regarded as the premier professional wrestling-based organization worldwide.

During this week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown on July 7, 2023, held at the iconic Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York, Danis took to Twitter to share a photo of himself alongside Triple H, who serves as WWE's Chief Content Officer and head of creative.

The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert and mixed martial artist accompanied the image with a cryptic comment simply stating, "negotiations." Following Danis' tweet, the MMA community was quick to respond, offering their thoughts on the potential move.

Some fans playfully suggested that Danis might withdraw from wrestling matches just as he has done in his MMA and boxing endeavors in recent years. One fan humorously remarked, "He dont know you lil bro."

Fan Theories on Chance Encounter

Other fans speculated that the photo may have been a chance encounter between Danis and Triple H, with the former approaching the WWE executive as a fan seeking a photo and an autograph.

Another fan jokingly implied that even in the world of WWE, Danis could find himself getting choked out, referencing a well-known incident in which he was choked out by a bouncer/chocolatier. Some Twitter users expressed their belief that Danis may not be welcomed in the WWE, poking fun at the situation.

One user humorously suggested that Danis might be negotiating for a job as a cameraman, quipping, "To be a camera man?" However, there were also fans who encouraged Danis to secure a lucrative deal with the WWE, emphasizing the financial benefits he could potentially reap from such a move.

While no official announcements have been made by Triple H or WWE regarding negotiations with Danis, the fighter has shared additional photos on Instagram featuring WWE legends Rey Mysterio and Edge, alongside his images with Triple H.

It remains to be seen whether these encounters are indicative of serious discussions or simply fan interactions. Danis, known for his accomplishments in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, last competed in a professional combat sports contest in June 2019 when he defeated Max Humphrey via first-round submission in an MMA bout at Bellator 222.

Since then, he has engaged in feuds with various MMA fighters and boxers on social media, though none of these disputes have materialized into actual fights. While fans eagerly await further updates, it's clear that Dillon Danis' potential transition to the world of WWE has sparked significant curiosity and speculation within both the combat sports and professional wrestling communities.
