Big E speaks about his recovery from injury

Big E is one of the most appreciated WWE superstars by fans thanks to its unique style and great professionalism. He is one third of The New Day alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Prior to signing with WWE in 2009, Ewen was a powerlifter and became USA Powerlifting champion.

In WWE, he is a one-time Intercontinental Champion, two-time Raw Tag Team Champion, a three-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion, and a one-time NXT Champion (while in WWE's developmental system, NXT). As a part of The New Day, he holds the record for the longest tag team championship reign in WWE history at 483 days.

During a recent interview, Big E spoke about his recovery from injury: “I had a meniscus repair and I think I’ll be back by 2021. That’s my goal. If I give myself a year and a half, I think that sounds about right.

You know, you don’t want to rush these things. Maybe even 2022, who knows? Maybe I’ll take some time off. Maybe get some hydraulic knees, because this is my fourth knee surgery. So maybe look into that. Some Go-Go-Gadget legs.

I might go bionic, actually. So we might go back to the drawing boards on that. Get some new hardware. So yeah, that’s the plan”.
