In a surprising twist, WWE's head of creative, Triple H, has made another significant change to the ring names of two prominent superstars. Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza, members of the dynamic tag team Los Lotharios, have seemingly reverted to their original monikers, marking a departure from the recent trend of abbreviated names within the company.

Under the leadership of Vince McMahon, the removal of either a superstar's first or last name had become a creative trope that often left fans puzzled. In the case of Carrillo and Garza, they were simply known as Humberto and Angel for some time.

However, astute viewers recently noticed that their ring names had been restored to their original forms on WWE's official roster page, signaling a potential shift in creative direction.

Lotharios' NXT Journey

Los Lotharios has been diligently carving out their place within the WWE's third brand, NXT, aiming to make a lasting impact.

Their attention has been focused on engaging in fierce rivalries with notable athletic tandems such as SCRYPTS and Axiom. Despite their ongoing efforts, both Carrillo and Garza have yet to make a substantial breakthrough on the company's main roster.

However, their relative youth and undeniable talent keep their aspirations for reaching the pinnacle of success alive. Dutch Mantell, widely recognized for his tenure as a WWE manager under the moniker Zeb Colter, recently shared his thoughts on the struggles faced by Carrillo and Garza, drawing parallels to the experiences of Sonya Deville.

Mantell acknowledged the exceptional abilities of Mexican wrestlers, highlighting their comprehensive training and versatility. He also cited Deville's string of losses as an example, emphasizing that defeats on shows like RAW do not necessarily hinder a superstar's career progression.

The industry veteran's insights shed light on the mindset prevalent among WWE talent, with reassurances of upcoming opportunities and the belief that setbacks are temporary. Throughout their tenure as a tag team, Los Lotharios have locked horns with some of the most formidable tandems in WWE, including powerhouses like The New Day, charismatic duos like the Street Profits, and the indomitable Usos.

Their battles have showcased their in-ring prowess and resilience, further cementing their status as a formidable force to be reckoned with.
