Mustafa Ali discusses getting to be a part of the European tour

Mustafa Ali is considered one of the most spectacular and interesting WWE superstars. Prior to joining WWE, he wrestled on the American independent circuit from 2003 to 2016. Ali was planned to compete in the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber event, which would have been his first world title match; however, he was pulled out due to a legit injury, and replaced by Kofi Kingston.

Ali returned to competition at a WWE live event on March 2, 2019. Ali was a last-moment addition to the WWE Championship match at Fastlane and was pinned by Bryan. On March 25, 2019, Mustafa Ali's ring name was shortened to Ali.

On the April 30 episode of SmackDown Live, it was announced Ali would participate in the 2019 Money In The Bank ladder match. In a long interview with Sky Sports, Ali discussed getting to be a part of the European tour: “I’ve only had the pleasure of being on one international tour before and got to go to Austria and Paris.

I’ll be joining the guys in London and doing the remaining half of the tour, and I’m really excited to get there. All of the guys who’ve been here for a long time talk about how great the fans are on these international tours because they only come around so often”.
