WWE superstar Alexa Bliss and Ryan Cabrera, renowned for his hit song "On the Way Down," have recently shared joyous news about expecting a baby girl, a detail revealed in an exclusive feature on "ET Online." In a vibrant celebration of their upcoming parenthood, the couple orchestrated a rockstar-themed gender reveal party.
Playing into the theme perfectly, Cabrera shattered a guitar filled with pink and blue smoke. The release of the pink smoke was met with cheers, signifying the couple would welcome a baby girl into their lives in December. The video, embedded below, captured a humorous discussion between the couple about their guesses concerning the baby's gender.
Bliss admitted that she was initially leaning towards expecting a boy, given the old wives' tales of experiencing cravings for salty foods and the baby's heartbeat pattern. In a playful retort, Cabrera argued he believed they would have a girl, attributing his prediction to what he described as "musician karma." Their announcement of expecting a child together at the end of May followed a whirlwind romance for the couple.
They tied the knot in April 2022 after getting engaged in November 2020, and this is their first child.
"Bliss's Last WWE Ring Appearances"
The charismatic Bliss, a cherished WWE figure, last appeared in the wrestling ring at the 2023 Royal Rumble on January 28.
Her last match was a grueling contest against Bianca Belair, the then-"WWE Raw" Women's Champion, where Bliss faced a defeat. During the January 2 episode of "Raw," a prior bout that month saw Belair retaining her title, with Bliss disqualified for attacking the referee.
Despite these setbacks, Belair, who held the "RAW" Women's Champion title for over 400 days, was defeated by Asuka on May 27 at the Night of Champions premium live event. Interestingly, in Bliss's absence, both the "Raw" and "SmackDown" women's titles have undergone name changes.
The "Raw" Women's title is now recognized as the WWE Women's Championship, while the "SmackDown" Women's title has been rechristened the WWE Women's World Championship. As Bliss prepares for motherhood, the wrestling world continues to evolve, promising a thrilling atmosphere upon her return.
