Monday's edition of WWE Raw had a noteworthy moment when Chelsea Green, partnered with Sonya Deville, secured a victory over competitors Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. This triumphant event made Green and Deville the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, marking Green's first WWE title win.

Adding a personal touch to this significant milestone was the backstage presence of her husband, professional wrestler Matt Cardona.

I was there through every step," Cardona commented. "I recall how she told me about her firing while I was in the middle of a haircut. I've been with her through the entire journey; her indie wrestling days, when she was my Miss Elizabeth, even the accidental hits with championships.

Having witnessed her growth from the Royal Rumble to WrestleMania, it was important for me to be there for her first shot at the women's tag team titles. And luckily, they won. Now, I jokingly consider myself one-half of one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, thanks to her." Since Green made her return to WWE, speculation has been rife about whether Cardona also harbors intentions of coming back to the company.

While Cardona hasn't dismissed the idea outright, he emphasized that his presence at Raw was solely to support Green. "I didn't want to give the impression of being there to plead for a job," Cardona clarified. "I coordinated with John Cone to ensure my entry and exit were low-key.

I was there solely to watch and express my pride as Chelsea clinched the titles." It's evident that Cardona's priority, for the time being, is to celebrate his wife's achievements, while keeping his own career decisions under wraps.
