WWE Shows Interest in Signing AEW Luchador Rush

Former Ring of Honor (ROH) World Champion, Rush, has become a highly sought-after talent in the wrestling world after his departure from Mexican promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). With both All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and WWE expressing interest in signing him, the luchador's future is now uncertain.

According to the latest report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rush has been a prominent figure in Tony Khan's AEW since he signed a full-time contract in May of the previous year. While the length of this deal remains undisclosed, AEW has recently made a substantial offer to keep him on their roster.

Sources suggest that the offer made to Rush by AEW is "far, far bigger than anyone in 'NXT' is getting," indicating the commitment they are willing to make to secure his services. However, WWE is not backing down in their pursuit of the talented wrestler.

If they want to match the offer made by AEW, they will need to provide Rush with "main roster money." This underlines the competitive nature of the wrestling industry as promotions vie for top talents to bolster their rosters and enhance their shows.

Recent Appearances Spark Speculation

Rush's recent appearances have only fueled the speculation surrounding his future. In his most recent match for AEW on the "AEW Rampage" episode on May 26, he teamed up with La Faccion Ingobernable partners Dralístico and Preston Vance but faced defeat against Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed's Max Caster and Anthony Bowens.

Shortly after this, he participated in the AAA TripleMania XXXI: Tijuana pay-per-view on July 15, where his match against LA Park ended in a draw alongside Psycho Clown and Sam Adonis. This match came just days after Rush publicly announced his departure from AAA.

In his departure statement posted on Facebook, Rush clarified that he plans to remain an independent talent until he receives an offer from a "real promoter." This statement intrigues the situation as wrestling fans and industry insiders eagerly await his decision.

As a former ROH World Champion, Rush's presence in any promotion would be a major asset. His unique style and captivating charisma have earned him a devoted fanbase, and it is no surprise that both AEW and WWE are eager to secure his signature. The wrestling world holds its breath, awaiting the decision that will shape Rush's future in the industry.
