Brandi Rhodes Wish List: 10 Dream Matches from WWE, AEW, Impact & More

Reflecting on the famed list her spouse Cody Rhodes made after his WWE departure in 2016 – a catalog of wrestlers he yearned to battle with – Brandi Rhodes, ex-AEW Chief Brand Officer, has followed suit. The difference: her compilation highlights the female performers she wished she could've crossed paths with in the ring before stepping back from active wrestling competition.

Brandi Rhodes rarely comments on wrestling these days, she confessed in a tweet. However, she decided to share a list of 10 individuals she never had a chance to wrestle, but would've loved the opportunity. The list commences with WWE's Becky Lynch, better known as "The Man," followed by a blend of talents from various promotions including Bayley, Bianca Belair, Maki Itoh, Kylie Rae, WWE Hall of Famer Madusa, Mickie James, Lita, Stephanie McMahon, and Serena Deeb.

A noteworthy mention is her last wrestling match – a victorious encounter against KiLynn King in January 2022 on "AEW Dark: Elevation."

Brandi Teases Wrestling Return

While officially retired from in-ring action, Brandi Rhodes continues to keep fans guessing about her potential future involvement in ongoing wrestling narratives.

Notably, she has hinted at possible engagement with her husband's current predicaments, like those with The Judgment Day faction. A recent Twitter post targeted at WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley indicated Brandi's readiness to step into the fray where Cody would not: laying hands on a woman.

For now, Brandi Rhodes is primarily focused on ventures outside the wrestling world. She hosts a podcast named "2 Lies and 1 Truth," and devotes a significant chunk of her time to raising her daughter Liberty, whom she shares with Cody.

Yet, Cody Rhodes implies that in wrestling, "never say never" is a commonly held sentiment. He hints that despite her retirement, there might still be a chance for Brandi Rhodes to grace the ring again someday.
