On the latest installment of the "Oh You Didn't Know" podcast, WWE Hall of Famer "Road Dogg" Brian James delved into potential talents he'd want to join the WWE roster. James didn't hesitate to share his perspective when asked about talents outside the WWE arena.

James mused, "In the vast array of talent available, I find myself contemplating the most bankable superstar out there." His answer reflected the confidence he has in the current WWE roster. "It's challenging to pinpoint someone indispensable," he expressed.

While emphasizing WWE's strong footing, he pointed to the staggering WrestleMania 40 ticket sales, a testament to the promotion's ongoing success.

Punk's Return: A Game-Changer

However, one name stood out for James, and it was none other than CM Punk.

The AEW wrestler had a significant stint in WWE, spanning nine years between 2005 and 2014. "His potential return would undeniably shift dynamics," James said. "Though I'm uncertain about the existing relations, Punk's comeback would undoubtedly be a game-changer." James' opinion was candid on the prospect of wrestling sensations like The Young Bucks, MJF, and Matt Cardona boosting WWE's appeal.

He stated, "Their addition would be commendable, but I doubt it would leave me awestruck." FTR's case brought a similar response. "If FTR rejoined, the internet would be buzzing, but it's debatable if there would be a discernible spike in ratings." Drawing a comparison, James added, "With Punk, it's an entirely different ball game.

In my estimation, he eclipses them all. While I'd willingly welcome FTR back – their prowess in tag team matches is unmatched – my first choice would lean toward Punk. As for The Young Bucks, not so much." James voiced his respect for Nick and Matt Jackson.

However, he candidly admitted, "While I acknowledge their craft, I wouldn't necessarily part with my money to watch them in the ring," underlining his rationale behind not vying for their inclusion in WWE's roster.
