LA Knight has been the name on the lips of the WWE Universe of late. The rising star's momentum is palpable, with fans rallying behind him and cheering him on with an enthusiasm that's hard to miss. Yet, for all the vocal support he's garnered, WWE hasn't fully thrown its weight behind him in terms of giving him a significant push.

But if you ask Aron Stevens, formerly known as Damien Sandow in the WWE ring, he's hopeful that will change soon. Speaking to "The Wrestling Perspective" podcast, Stevens voiced his support and hopes for Knight's future trajectory in the company.

"I genuinely want to see him climb to the top," Stevens shared. "At present, LA Knight is in a spotlight where his potential is clear for everyone to see. And my biggest hope? That WWE listens to the very fans who cheer for him.

Because when you boil it all down, it's the fans who decide. They're the ultimate judges, and, more importantly, they are the ones who dictate the direction."

Knight's Emotional Audience Connection

Stevens points out that what makes Knight stand out is his uncanny ability to connect with the audience.

In wrestling, it's not always the flashiest moves that make the deepest impression; it's the emotional connection a wrestler forges with the audience. "It isn’t about the flamboyance of the move; it's about resonance.

If you can strike a chord with just one person, the journey towards that connection leaves an indelible mark," Stevens noted. But like any performer in the spotlight, LA Knight hasn't been without his detractors. Some critics have drawn parallels between his character and wrestling legends like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, sparking debates about Knight's originality.

Even Kevin Nash admitted to being initially taken aback by the resemblance, wondering if it was an inside joke or 'rib.' However, in the face of such comparisons, Knight stands firm, asserting his uniqueness and proudly proclaiming, "I am the one and only LA Knight." In the ever-evolving world of professional wrestling, one thing remains clear: LA Knight has captured the hearts of many, and his journey has only just begun.
