Drew McIntyre is currently one of the top talents in the WWE right now. His first run in the WWE was not very successful. He left the company in 2014 and he rejoined in 2017. Drew McIntyre worked for a while at WWE NXT. There, he developed a brand new fan base.

Outside of the WWE, he worked for Impact Wrestling and fought a few good wrestlers over there. These days, he is being used frequently by the WWE and fight some of the best WWE wrestlers. Digital Spy recently spoke with Drew McIntyre about possibly facing WWE UK Champion WALTER and that it would be a dream match.

"If I was to pick an opponent [from WWE NXT UK] that might be interesting for the fans to watch I'd say myself and Walter," McIntyre said. "It might be a bit of a spectacle for everybody to watch and the story is simple – two big lads battering each other."

He also spoke about the NXT UK stable of Gallus. It features The Coffey Brothers and Wolfgang. He stated that he follows his countrymen. "I'm always keeping an eye on Gallus," McIntyre said. "I took Wolfgang's first wrestling lesson about 16 or 17 years ago."

McIntyre was involved in a few very important matches recently. He was also part of The Shield: The Final Chapter match which was The Shield’s final match in the WWE.
