Former WWE Superstar and WCW standout, Shawn Stasiak, has ignited wrestling forums with the recent revelation of his inclination towards a comeback. Not only has he shown interest in re-entering the squared circle, but he also hinted at All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a potential landing spot.

Stasiak, who once dominated the wrestling scene under the moniker "Meat" after his WWE debut, may not have World Titles under his belt, but has shown immense grit and prowess by securing the Hardcore title on 15 occasions.

His ring resume boasts clashes with industry titans like Kurt Angle and the Big Show, recognized outside the wrestling world as Paul Wight.

Stasiak Eyes AEW

In a recent tête-à-tête with Haus of Wrestling, Stasiak expressed his desire to collaborate with Tony Khan, AEW's founder.

He envisions the resurrection of his "Meat" character, albeit with a contemporary twist. "Tony Khan, though relatively new to this arena, resonates with a different vibe," expressed Stasiak. "His approach appears more receptive, respecting the richness of the sport's history.

With AEW’s propensity for innovation, the phrase 'Never say never' gains a stronger foothold. Tony’s forward-thinking ensures AEW remains a hub of fresh, imaginative ideas." This isn't the maiden instance of Stasiak hinting at an alliance with AEW.

Following a singles bout between Powerhouse Hobbs and Miro, the crowd erupted into 'Meat' chants, alluding to Big E's famous quip about his love for "Big meaty men slappin’ meat." Responding to the unexpected chant, Stasiak took to social media, nudging AEW's top brass.

Tagging Tony Khan in a cheeky tweet, Stasiak wrote, "Hey @TonyKhan, noticing all the 'MEAT' buzz? While we did 'meet' backstage years ago, remember, well-preserved 'aged meat' remains timeless. 😉👊" With such subtle hints and the wrestling community's palpable excitement, the potential for a Stasiak-AEW collaboration is undoubtedly one to watch.
