In the dynamic and ever-evolving world of professional wrestling, major shifts and departures often make headlines. One such recent development involves 'The Dyad', consisting of Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid. Previously known under the moniker 'Grizzled Young Veterans', their association with WWE appears to have come to an end, as indicated by wrestling icon, Booker T.

Earlier in April, The Dyad publicly disclosed their desire to part ways with WWE, even going so far as to formally request their release. While their plea wasn't immediately accepted, fans were left speculating, especially given that the duo's contractual obligations with the wrestling giant were set to conclude in October.

Dyad's Uncertain Exit

Stoking the flames of these rumors, an intriguing revelation came forth during Tuesday's NXT segment. Joe Gacy, in a conversation with Ava, hinted at the potential departure of The Dyad. Drawing an analogy, Gacy mentioned that the Schism tree, previously associated with the duo, now has just two roots – an indirect yet evident indication of The Dyad's dissociation.

This speculation gained further traction when Booker T, renowned NXT announcer and Hall of Famer, commented on the matter during his popular 'Hall of Fame' podcast. Booker candidly shared, "The Dyad, those talented guys, just let their contract run its course.

They'll be heading out of the WWE, but where to? There's a chance we might see them in AEW. Or perhaps, they're contemplating a return to their UK roots. They always stood out to me – truly two of my personal favorites.

Their unique presence was a highlight in WWE, and it's truly unfortunate to see them depart." While The Dyad's exit from WWE seems imminent, an official confirmation from the pair remains pending. The wrestling community is eagerly awaiting their next move, with speculations ranging from joining rival wrestling promotions to international stints.
